Why Knowing Your Inner Beast Changes How You Work

GLOBL Research · June 16, 2026 · 7 min read

Most self-assessments hand you four letters or a color and call it insight. The IBSA takes a different path: forty archetypes, each a complete performance profile — how you make decisions under pressure, how you communicate when stakes are high, what your recovery actually requires.

Precision matters because generic advice fails quietly. Telling a Panther to 'speak up more in meetings' misreads how a Panther wins — through positioning and timing, not volume. Telling a Lion to 'slow down and build consensus' can be equally wrong. Your archetype is not a box; it's an operating manual.

What to do with your result: treat it as a hypothesis about your defaults. Watch a week of your own decisions through its lens. Where the profile predicts you — and it will — you've found leverage: a default you can now design around instead of fighting.
